Battling out heresy.

A few days ago, a couple of colleagues of mine were debating before our final exam about Christ. Believe it or not, the debate was intentional to help us understand the exam. I made a comment that sounded heretical from a Christological point-of-view, for which my colleagues thankfully corrected me. I still want to jot out my thoughts on the matter because perhaps what I said may have been heretical-sounding, but my intention was not.

What I’m Learning This Week

leave a comment »

It’s been a rather tough week. . .tougher than I’ve had in a while.

My friend, by the way, did accept my apology.  I had to swallow my pride (as I needed to) and ask him if that was the case.  I feel much relief from knowing that, though I know things will be rocky in our friendship for a bit. Read the rest of this entry »

The Draft Begins

After almost a week, I am ready to finish reading the petition questions and begin to answer the first three to five questions.  I have decided that I will do no more than that per week until it’s done.  I prayed my first Chaplet to the Virtues of the Holy Spirit today at a conference for Catholic women.  That is when I decided I was ready to begin.
