Second Semester Learnings

By Tuesday evening of next week, I will have finished my second semester of graduate school in Theological Studies. I get a quick-but-needed month and a half break before I take a summer course on Faith and Revelation. A summation of my humble learnings is now in order.

What’s So Devastating Anyway?

I was reading a few sermons by Bishop Fulton Sheen on the subject of the heart, i.e., love.  And his words so eloquently evoke tears from my eyes, as if he knows what I need to say aloud.  It causes me this reflection on my former marriage:
